The Kettle Valley Railway Cycle TourDay 5: Chute Lake to Penticton 43.6 km
After a good night sleep, the ride out is downhill into Penticton. A beautiful descent through the Rock Ovens Regional Park, while making your way down into Naramata wine country. Rock ovens can be seen by the side of the railbed, originally used by crews building the railway. Discover why Okanagan wines have taken their place among the best in the world. Approximately 50 local wineries invite you to sample their products and tour their charming and intriguing facilities. Each is uniquely situated in a picturesque setting with breathtaking views of lakes and valleys. We will stop to visit the Hillside Estate Winery, it's then on to Penticton for dinner and a night out on the town. Penticton is known as the Festival City, and often serves up some fabulous fun.
